Jamun And Cucumber Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 medium-sized sliced cucumber
  • 1 stalk of chopped spring onions
  • ½ medium sized sliced radishes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • 5 black jamuns - deseeded and puréed
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 3-4 pieces orange segments
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of black salt

Preparation

  • Blend the olive oil, jamun puree, salt, black salt, orange juice , cumin powder to make a dressing
  • Combine the dressing with the vegetables
  • Top the mixture with chopped coriander, peanuts and orange segments
