Moong Ki Bhurjee

Ingredients

  • 120 grams cooked whole green moong dal
  • 10 grams chopped onions
  • 20 grams chopped tomatoes
  • 5 grams chopped green chillies
  • 5 grams chopped coriander leaves
  • 10 ml lemon juice
  • 20 grams bean sprouts
  • 10 grams roasted unsalted walnuts
  • 5 ml olive oil
  • 5 ml ghee
  • 1 gram salt
  • 2 grams black pepper
  • 2 grams aamchur powder
  • 2.5 grams red chilli powder
  • 2 grams turmeric powder
  • Few whole iceberg lettuce leaves
  • Few whole cabbage leaves

Preparation

  • Melt the ghee
  • Sweat the onions, tomatoes and green chillies until soft
  • Add the cooked whole green moong dal and mix well, 
  • Add the powdered spices, salt and pepper and seal the taste
  • Top with bean sprouts and walnuts
  • Serve in lettuce cups
